Low hum or noise when charging
These are general checks, not model-specific compatibility certification. Start at low volume and change one setting at a time.
Check in order
- Compare stopped playback and charging states at low speaker volume.
- On a battery-capable laptop, briefly compare with its charger normally disconnected; record results without assuming a cause.
- Separate audio cables from power adapters. For long runs, check balanced support at both ends; TRS shape alone does not mean stereo.
- Never defeat protective earth or modify mains plugs. If cable substitution does not help, provide the routing to support.
- If unresolved, use the support note below to record hardware, OS/app versions, last responding meter, tests and outcomes for official support.
