Music subscriptions: compare and set up

1. Update desktop rekordbox and check OS/controller requirements.
2. Select Beatport, Spotify or Apple Music in the library. If absent, check display settings, release and region.
3. Use the in-app login to authorize your subscribed account on the official service page, then return to rekordbox.
4. Open a service playlist, load one track and wait for analysis. Check headphone cue before master at low volume.
5. For an eligible Beatport offline plan, right-click tracks and choose Store Offline. Wait for completion, then test without networking. Spotify/Apple Music cannot play offline in rekordbox.

1. Update Serato DJ Pro/Lite and confirm your hardware/software entitlement.
2. In Setup > Library + Display enable streaming-service visibility; labels vary by release.
3. Log into the chosen service through official authorization. Spotify needs Premium; Beatport needs a DJ-integration plan.
4. Open a playlist from the service library, load one track and check waveform and headphone cue.
5. Keep networking active for a short test. Check Serato-specific offline, recording and Stems restrictions rather than assuming the listening app’s features carry over.

1. Check device OS and djay edition, update the app and review Pro requirements for controller features.
2. Open the music-source selector in the library and choose Beatport, Spotify or Apple Music.
3. Authorize your subscribed account through official login. For Apple Music also check media-access permission.
4. Load a track from your playlist and test cue, crossfader and master at low volume.
5. Neural Mix is unavailable for Apple Music and Spotify. For Beatport, verify plan and app requirements and test offline eligibility before relying on it.

1. Check that your Traktor version and license support Beatport integration.
2. Confirm that your Beatport subscription is Advanced or above.
3. Open Preferences > Streaming > Beatport and sign into your subscribed account.
4. Open a Beatport playlist in the browser and load one track onto a deck.
5. Check headphone cue before raising the speaker level. Verify plan and app support before storing tracks for offline use.

1. Check the exact hardware model and Engine OS version. Engine DJ Desktop has different capabilities.
2. Apple Music requires supported hardware. The Engine OS 4.3 launch list includes SC LIVE 2/4, PRIME GO+, PRIME 4+, Mixstream Pro+ and Pro Go. Check the current manufacturer list for other models.
3. Connect the hardware to the internet and select Beatport or Apple Music in Sources.
4. Follow the official on-screen authorization instructions to sign into your subscribed account.
5. Load one track and check cue and hardware output. Beatport offline storage is unavailable on Engine OS. Saving analysis data to USB is different from exporting audio.

Check active subscription, correct account, app/OS, device and region. Test official login in your normal browser, restart the DJ app and reauthorize. Never enter passwords on this site.

Availability varies by rights, region and content restrictions. Check the original app and refresh the DJ library. For Apple Music personal playlists also check Sync Library.

Check networking and service availability, and stop the same account playing on another device. Keep appropriately licensed local tracks as backup; a subscription alone does not protect against outages.

rekordbox disallows subscription-track recording and USB/LINK EXPORT, and Apple Music/Spotify Stems. Check other software separately. This guide does not suggest conversion or external recording to bypass restrictions.

Spotify explicitly limits use to personal, non-commercial activity, excluding venues, events and livestreams. Other subscriptions also do not automatically clear public-performance or broadcast rights; check service terms and permissions for your use.
