Traktor DVS: timecode is not detected
These are general checks, not model-specific compatibility certification. Start at low volume and change one setting at a time.
Check in order
- Check Traktor version, supported inputs and correct control media; ordinary records are not timecode.
- Match PHONO/LINE to turntable output, wire both channels to the input pair and check the documented ground connection.
- Assign each deck input pair in Input Routing and inspect both signals in Timecode Setup.
- After calibration check Scratch Control mode; missing channels/distortion require cartridge, connector and cable checks.
- If unresolved, record models, OS/app versions, OUT-to-IN routing, the last responding meter and comparison results in the support note.
No signal/settings unavailable
- Start with entitlement, input device and PHONO/LINE matching.
Signal is distorted or one-sided
- Check L/R, stylus and contacts first; do not compensate with excessive gain.
If unresolved
Record hardware models, OS/app versions, the last responding meter and test outcomes for official support. Do not infer hardware failure or a purchase requirement from unverified checks.
