Audio input blocked by privacy permissions
These are general checks, not model-specific compatibility certification. Start at low volume and change one setting at a time.
Check in order
- Check Windows Settings > Privacy & security > Microphone or macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone; names vary by release.
- Allow input access for the DJ/recording app; on Windows also inspect desktop-app microphone access.
- Fully quit and reopen the app, then reselect input and channels. Permission does not create an audio route.
- Compare OS and app input meters. If neither moves, inspect physical input, LINE mode and cable.
- If unresolved, use the support note below to record hardware, OS/app versions, last responding meter, tests and outcomes for official support.
I found a difference from a working path/track
- Change one candidate at a time; retain the working configuration and compare the same track.
