SYNCROOM: recording balance differs or audio doubles
These are general checks, not model-specific compatibility certification. Start at low volume and change one setting at a time.
Check in order
- Distinguish interface direct monitoring from SYNCROOM input monitoring and identify which carries your local sound.
- Two active monitoring paths can double audio; disable one at a time and distinguish listening from sending.
- For recording-matched listening follow the FAQ monitoring conditions and avoid overlapping direct sound.
- Record local and peer sources separately, then compare the saved balance rather than judging send level only by monitoring.
- If unresolved, record models, OS/app versions, OUT-to-IN routing, the last responding meter and comparison results in the support note.
Own Input receives no signal
- Check interface/app input before networking; distinguish self-column from Input meters.
Peer routing, doubled audio or noise
- Verify local capture, then separate send, receive and monitor paths.
If unresolved
Record hardware models, OS/app versions, the last responding meter and test outcomes for official support. Do not infer hardware failure or a purchase requirement from unverified checks.
