FLX4 → Babyface Pro FS: AN 3/4 and TotalMix
These are general checks, not model-specific compatibility certification. Start at low volume and change one setting at a time.
Signal path
- FLX4 MASTER L/R
- Babyface AN 3/4 → computer input 3/4
- Peer audio uses a separate monitor/output path
Check in order
- Feed FLX4 MASTER RCA L/R separately to Babyface Pro FS AN 3/4 and check documented reference sensitivity.
- Verify top-row Hardware Inputs AN 3/4, not the separate Software Playback meters.
- Select the same stereo input pair 3/4 in the capture app; selecting 1/2 will not capture those side inputs.
- Inspect the receiving Hardware Output submix without including received sound in send. Start ordinary input tests with Loopback off.
- If unresolved, record models, OS/app versions, OUT-to-IN routing, the last responding meter and comparison results in the support note.
Input meter does not move
- Trace DJ output to capture and locate the first missing stage.
Input exists; saved audio is wrong
- Check recorded tracks and duplicate monitoring, comparing a short saved file.
If unresolved
Record hardware models, OS/app versions, the last responding meter and test outcomes for official support. Do not infer hardware failure or a purchase requirement from unverified checks.
