Prepare a brief for a finished mix
These are general checks, not model-specific compatibility certification. Start at low volume and change one setting at a time.
Check in order
- List the use case, duration, mood, deadline and requested tracks.
- Separate mandatory details from flexible preferences such as track order, starts and endings.
- Check lawful source and use permissions; agree on scope and total price with the producer.
- Define purpose, duration, deadline, file delivery and revisions; annotate reference timestamps and state permission and publication destination.
- Record original settings, change one thing at a time and compare the same 30 seconds. Avoid updates or resets during a gig.
- If unresolved, record hardware, OS/app versions, trigger and test results in the support note. An untested step is not proof of a fault.
If unresolved
Record hardware models, OS/app versions, the last responding meter and test outcomes for official support. Do not infer hardware failure or a purchase requirement from unverified checks.
