DJ HELP DESKBY ZULASUN

Recording level too low or clipping

These are general checks, not model-specific compatibility certification. Start at low volume and change one setting at a time.

Check in order

  1. Trace meters from DJ channel to master, interface input and recorder; locate the first weak or clipped stage.
  2. Feed DJ LINE output into a suitable LINE input; check that MIC/INST high-gain settings are not overloading.
  3. As a starting point, leave peaks around −12 to −6 dBFS. Avoid 0 dBFS; reducing the final fader does not repair earlier clipping.
  4. Save 30 seconds and check in a normal player; inspect distortion and stereo balance before normalization.
  5. If unresolved, use the support note below to record hardware, OS/app versions, last responding meter, tests and outcomes for official support.

I found a difference from a working path/track

  • Change one candidate at a time; retain the working configuration and compare the same track.

Still happens / cannot compare yet

  • Do not assume hardware failure or a purchase requirement. Follow the checks; record unavailable tests as unverified.

If unresolved

Record hardware models, OS/app versions, the last responding meter and test outcomes for official support. Do not infer hardware failure or a purchase requirement from unverified checks.
