Only one side plays
These are general checks, not model-specific compatibility certification. Start at low volume and change one setting at a time.
Check in order
- Check the same source on another playback system to isolate a one-sided source.
- Check left/right meters, output assignments and destination channels.
- Lower the volume before checking cables. Verify mono/stereo connector requirements in the exact manual.
- At low level swap L/R at the output and note whether the silent side moves. This helps isolate upstream versus downstream candidates without proving a fault.
- Record original settings, change one thing at a time and compare the same 30 seconds. Avoid updates or resets during a gig.
- If unresolved, record hardware, OS/app versions, trigger and test results in the support note. An untested step is not proof of a fault.
If unresolved
Record hardware models, OS/app versions, the last responding meter and test outcomes for official support. Do not infer hardware failure or a purchase requirement from unverified checks.
