Check in order

- Mute sources one at a time and test with one path; note settings before deleting anything.
- Inspect advanced audio monitoring destinations; avoid returning monitored sound to the same captured input or hearing it alongside direct monitoring.
- Use headphones to rule out microphone pickup from speakers, then check a 30-second recording.
