DVS: broken calibration circles or missing signal
These are general checks, not model-specific compatibility certification. Start at low volume and change one setting at a time.
Check in order
- Verify media, hardware and entitlement for the chosen software; lower levels and open calibration.
- Inspect both channels; at low level swap L/R to see whether the missing signal moves.
- Check stylus, headshell contacts and RCA connections as documented; do not force a circle by excessive gain.
- Follow the app-specific stopped/rotating calibration procedure and test steady rotation; do not copy another app calibration values.
- If unresolved, record models, OS/app versions, OUT-to-IN routing, the last responding meter and comparison results in the support note.
No signal/settings unavailable
- Start with entitlement, input device and PHONO/LINE matching.
Signal is distorted or one-sided
- Check L/R, stylus and contacts first; do not compensate with excessive gain.
If unresolved
Record hardware models, OS/app versions, the last responding meter and test outcomes for official support. Do not infer hardware failure or a purchase requirement from unverified checks.
